I was raised on a farm in west central Minnesota. After high school I moved to New Zealand and later attended the University of Minnesota, Crookston. I married my husband Casey and have been fortunate to have lived in 4 different states (Wisconsin, Minnesota, Alaska, and Colorado) through all our moves we have remained happily married for 23 years and are blessed with 3 fantastic children. We moved from Alaska in 2015 (after 11 years), and now own a small piece of heaven on the outskirts of Elizabeth Colorado. I love to spend time with my family, go antiquing, fishing, and camping. This is my second year at Trinity Lutheran School. I am blessed to work at Trinity and enjoy seeing God's big work in our little school.
My personal verse is: Philippians 4:13 "I can do all this through him who gives me strength"

I, Jennifer Finley, came to Trinity after graduating from Concordia University in St. Paul, MN and have been here for 16 years. The best part about teaching here is being able to touch the lives of the students and their families spiritually and through academics. I appreciate the small class sizes, so I can get to know my families and be there for them in times of celebration and hard times. I cannot picture teaching anywhere else. The Bible verse I am focusing on is from Psalms 46:10, "Be still and know that I am God!" That is hard to do, but know that He is in control over all things. Blessings, Jennifer Finley
I was born and raised in Wisconsin. After graduation from Valparaiso University with a Bachelor of Social Work degree, I moved to Wyoming to work as a School Social Worker/Counselor. Feeling the call of "teacher" upon my life, I returned to Wisconsin to complete my Elementary Education schooling at Alverno College. Since then I have taught Kindergarten, First, Second, Fifth and Sixth grades plus Jr. High School Special Education in three different states (New Mexico, Hawaii and Colorado). This will be my 14th year at Trinity.
When I am not teaching, my days are filled with gardening and "homesteading" on our ranch east of Kiowa. I have been happily married to my husband, John, for 25 years. We have two grown sons. Nick trains horses in Oklahoma. Our eldest son, Isaiah is a Youth Pastor in Texas and was married this summer.
Personal Verse: Romans 8:38-39 English Standard Version (ESV) 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Mrs. Ayers attended Concordia University in Irvine, CA and earned both a B.A. and an M.A. Ed. at Concordia. She received a second M.A. Ed. degree from Concordia in Seward, Nebraska in 2015. Personal Verse, Joshua 1:9, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
Thanks for your interest in the ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church and School.
Trinity is a member of the Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod, a church body in the United States of some 6,000 plus congregations. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant, Word of God relevant, applicable, and a blessing to people's lives as much now as when first written.
I have served in pastoral ministry since 1981 and have served three parishes; a dual parish in rural McNutt, Saskatchewan, Canada, a missional church start in Mansfield, TX. (St.John), and Trinity Lutheran Church and School in Franktown since 2002.
My wife, Pam, and I live in Castle Rock and still marvel at the creative beauty of God's handiwork as we go about our daily routines. We have been blessed with three wonderful grown children, a son, Samuel and daughter-in-law Cassie, and their five children; a daughter Emily and son-in-law Colton; and Katherine and son-in-law Ryan. My personal mission statement for pastoral ministry goes like this: I am a pastor so that I might share God's truth, seek the lost and straying, and help shape Godly lives. As a congregation we seek to "Prayerfully reach in and out with the grace and love of Jesus Christ" so that we might connect people to Jesus.
I invite you to contact me if you have any questions about Trinity's ministry and, if you're seeking a place to worship, to come and worship with our faith community. May God's peace rest upon your heart and mind.
